PEAT’D: THE WORLD’S FIRST PEAT SMOKED TOMATO SAUCE
When PEAT’D asked us to help launch their one-of-a-kind, peat-smoked tomato sauce, we didn’t just see another condiment. We saw four flavour-packed bottles with a story that needed telling.
What Makes PEAT’D Unique?
If you’re wondering, “Why is there peat in my tomato sauce?” you’re not alone. But taste it, and you’ll get it. Borrowing a flavour usually reserved for whisky, PEAT’D’s smoky, earthy magic turns ordinary dishes into something unforgettable. It’s like handing home cooks a cheat code for incredible flavour.
The Game Plan
We transformed 32 influencer-created recipes into drool-worthy videos and produced 40 stunning static shots for the brand’s digital debut.
For the videos, we went lo-fi, Mob Kitchen style. Think hand-held angles, sizzling sounds, and a bit of organised chaos. It was all about making the recipes feel fun, relatable, and achievable. The static shots took a different direction – high-end studio polish, spotlighting PEAT’D’s rich colours and textures to ooze quality and style.
This balance of lo-fi video charm and sleek photography nailed the brief, giving PEAT’D an approachable yet premium vibe.
Results
After plenty of cooking (and eating), we delivered assets that made a splash in the sauce world. The project reminded us why we love what we do – capturing the boldness of a brand like PEAT’D in a way that feels both authentic and eye-catching
